I’m the son of one of the most powerful elders the JWS have had in the last 50 years. He’s recently passed away and it’s allowed for me to be around my family again. You see I was disfellowshiped over 40 years ago. So my family has stayed away from me and my family during that time. Because of being a Christian and realizing that Christ opposed and scolds religious leaders that shunned certain people because of who they were. And Christ searched out these so called wicked people and ate with and loved them because of their flaws. This is the example I learned from to forgive the JWS and their believe system. I love my family and truly understand they’re the lost that need to reached. Their works program will get them misery not peace they search for so hard. I hope during this time I can show them what Christ has done in my life and can do in all of them also. God bless

Wow how can a story be tragic and lovely at the same time? Unfortunately we know all too well that story told over and over again within the Watchtower and groups like it. Yes the saddest part is that the peace that they are so desperately looking for is in the man Jesus, and yet they are taught to be afraid of the people who bring that message. Thanks for commenting and God Bless.

Whenever “the truth” is defined in an organization, denomination, or some other type of official group get ready to find out how “right” you are and how “wrong & wordly” everyone else is. The truth is Christ! The kingdom is Christ! Salvation is in Christ! Righteousness is in Christ! Not an organization.

If you want your organization or denomination to define who is on the outside or part of the world that’s easy because all of these self-righteous groups have cherry-picked their own special claim-to-fame check off list showing how “special, right, & obedient” they are and how ungodly everyone else is according to their selected list. But if the Bible gets to define who is of the world and who is not, then JWS need to know that those who are not born from God are the ones under the influence of the wicked one.

    1 John 5:18-19 (WEB)
18 We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.
19 We know that we are (born) [emp. added] of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Religiously lost men have convinced JWS that they can’t be born from above unless they are of this make believe annointed class group. JWS have allowed religiously lost men to convince them to be offended at the thought of being born from above or partaking of the body & blood of Christ if they don’t have a make believe “heavenly hope.” There are no “respectful observers” mentioned in the Bible pertaining to the Lord’s Table but it is mentioned in…..Watchtower literature, yet JWS continue to tell me, “everything we believe comes right out of the Bible.”

JWS tell me that they don’t know for sure that they have eternal life. The only way you don’t know for sure that you have eternal life is if it’s up to you to persuade God to reward it to you. Listen, the persuading is already done! The work is already done! Christ has accomplished the righteous requirements that meets God’s standard of…..perfection! Put your belief/confidence/faith in Christ and you can have the testimony of eternal life now!

    1 John 5:10-13 (WEB)
10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn’t believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

It has never been about putting an organization’s literature on such a high level that you “must openly believe everything it prints” no matter what and when the literature changes its mind you’d better change your mind, and when the literature changes its mind again you’d better change your mind again…..OR ELSE!!!

Listen, be free in Christ. Be free from religious bondage. Read John 17:1-3 again, not just verse 3. Eternal life is relational, not information and marching orders. Eternal life is “knowing” both the Father & the Son. That defines eternal life. …now! Start living this life now because you know them now. Obey Christ out of gratitude because you have eternal life, not because you’re trying to get positioned for some future eternal life through a righteous resume.

Blasphemy- these individuals were clearly not ready to live there lives apart from the world which is clearly ruled by Satan at this time, he has also used this site to discourage others away from the truth. And this is coming from me an unbaptitzed witness, who is clearly not ready to give up on this wicked world, but I encourage all that’s looking for understanding to pray for it and request a Bible Study you will not be disappointed.

I agree I wish people would search for (THE TRUTH) Jesus said “I am the truth and the life”. How is pointing you to Jesus leading you away from the truth?
